Artist's statement
I envision a blank canvas as a playground and of infinite potential, where artistic energy translates to a healing journey. The canvas is a limitless place for me to blend spontaneously chosen colors into organic shapes and fluid lines that flow freely through my fingertips from different orientations. Building layer upon layer, I work intuitively until shapes are revealed and characters are born. These abstract formations work to tell a story, and when the story is told, the painting is done. Each viewer may then dream a different story in their own space of enjoyment.
